MEET YOUR COACH

My name is Kevin Castaneda. I’m a 37-year-old father, ultrarunner, and Sacramento native with a passion for trail running and helping others discover what they’re capable of.

I’ve completed Multiple 100-mile races, Including the Rio De Lago 100, along with 50Ks, marathons, and countless miles throughout Auburn and Northern California.

But my running story isn’t just about finishes. I’ve also DNF’d races, made mistakes, battled through difficult training blocks, and learned firsthand what works-and what doesn’t-when you’re pushing your body and mind over long distances.

Trail running changed my life. It’s taken me on incredible adventures, challenged me, humbled me, and taught me lessons that go far beyond running.

Now i want to share that experience with people who want to run their first marathon or ultramarathon but don’t know where to start.

My goal as your coach is simple: help you avoid the mistakes i’ve made, navigate the challenges of long-distance running, and give you the guidance, preparation, and confidence to reach your own finish line.
